Laura Robbins – Toward Water

Over the years, Laura has explored water imagery. She revisits this theme in the current body of works created around a visit to the Big Island of Hawaii. Honored and awed when sharing the underwater world of the reef, Robbins created this series of visual metaphors that explore what water holds and supports – above and below the surface. Her mosaics are created with unique, hand formed-ceramics, fused, cast and cut glass.
