We Live Stories – Bunny and Leland Bowen
Our ancestors pondered life’s mystery: birth, death. They recorded annual migrations and the movement of sun, moon and stars by creating images in fiber, bone and clay, and eventually building structures. Stories were shared around campfires in sacred rituals deep in caves and forests. We are exploring these ancient ways of understanding our tiny place in the vast universe while using materials on hand juniper wood, bits of rosemary, fired clay, silk purchased years ago in Japan.
Artists reception: Saturday April 15, 1 – 4 pm
