With the weather warming up and daylight stretching longer into the evenings, many are ready to escape winter cabin fever and race to the outdoors for springtime fun. Embrace springtime and head out to Cabezon Park in Rio Rancho for the annual Park ‘N the Park Car Show on April 22.
For spectators, admission is free, and the day will feature fun for all ages. Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you’ll have a full day to explore over 300 cars—all made before 1982—as well as arts and crafts vendors, food, entertainment from Steve’s Cruisin’ with the Oldies, and fun jumps for kids.
In addition to a free and lively event, visitors can enjoy the nostalgia of classic cars and the fun and delight of their children exploring the fun jumps and vendors. Plan to attend for a few hours to enjoy all there is to do, and don’t forget to dress for the weather, stay hydrated and apply sunscreen.
